Trying to get to the bottom of the lad's bike starting issues. Voltage getting to starter motor ok so decided to try and remove it. So, how do you do this? Taken out the two bolts connecting it to the frame/engine. Removed the power cable nut. So just pull it to the right and out it'll come. No chance! What am I missing? It will not budge. There should be an o ring seal that might be making life difficult. However, tried brute force and various levers long screwdriver to crowbar. Added penetrating oil and WD40 spray for good measure. Still no joy! Any pointers appreciated. I'm hoping it'll be an easy fix when removed otherwise it's an expensive replacement ____________________...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...
